Top notes are Orange and Lemon; middle notes are Rose de Mai, Pistachio, Walnut, Honey, Rose and Puff Pastry; base notes are Peru Balsam, Sandalwood, Immortelle, Labdanum, Cinnamon, Olibanum, Benzoin, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Mimosa, Amber, Musk, Bran, Gurjan balsam and Decalepis hamiltonii. A Thousand Layers by Vanitas Parfums is an extrait de parfum composed by Paul Voulgaridis and launched in 2025. Conceived from a day in the Aegean between Pigadia and Saria, it translates a memory of sea, sun, and shared pastry into a layered gourmand composition. The scent opens with folded lemon and orange, moving into a heart of Greek honey, roasted walnut and pistachio, and a caramelized phyllo-pastry accord alongside Rose de Mai and Isparta rose. Its base is built on sandalwood, bran, and balsamic–resinous tones of Peru balsam, labdanum, benzoin, olibanum, and gurjun, colored by cinnamon, mimosa, vetiver, and oakmoss, with musks, immortelle, and woody-amber nuances.
