Top notes are Aldehydes, Citruses, Raspberry, Coconut, Peach, Pear, Bergamot, Wisteria and Wild Strawberry; middle notes are Jasmine, Lily, Rose, Heliotrope, Orris, Lily-of-the-Valley, Ylang-Ylang and Iris; base notes are Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Bourbon Vetiver, Opoponax, Patchouli, Vanilla, Musk, Spices, Labdanum, Oakmoss and Styrax. Princesse Jeanne d'Albret was the mother of Henry of Navarre, King Henry IV of France. She was the inspiration for the name of the Paris perfume house of Jean d'Albret, founded by Comte Guillaume d'Ornano. In 1960, the romantic floral Princesse d'Albret perfume brought fame to the house with its unique wild strawberry top note.
