The base is anchored by patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, and musk, providing a warm and grounding finish characteristic of the chypre family. The fragrance was packaged in a distinctive green flask modeled after a long-necked Roman urn, decorated with a gold bas-relief of Bacchus, the Roman god of revelry.
